Please read these terms carefully before using GCLI
1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By accessing and using GCLI ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of GCLI Technologies' GPT Command Line Interface service. Your use of the Service constitutes acceptance of these Terms.
2. SERVICE DESCRIPTION
GCLI is an intelligent command line interface that uses artificial intelligence to generate, optimize, and execute terminal commands. The Service includes:
- AI-powered command generation and optimization
- Context-aware command suggestions
- Real-time command execution assistance
- Command history and learning capabilities
- Integration with various development tools and platforms
3. USER RESPONSIBILITIES
3.1 Acceptable Use
You agree to use GCLI only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
3.2 Prohibited Activities
You may not use GCLI to:
- Generate malicious code or commands
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems

3.3 Command Verification
You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all commands generated by GCLI before execution. We recommend testing commands in a safe environment before using them in production systems.
4. SERVICE AVAILABILITY
While we strive to maintain high service availability, GCLI is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service and may experience downtime for maintenance, updates, or technical issues.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without prior notice.
5. TECHNICAL & SERVICE TERMS
5.1 Beta Software Disclaimer
GCLI is currently in beta phase. Beta software may contain bugs, errors, and incomplete features. The Service may be unstable, unreliable, or unavailable at times. We make no guarantees about the stability, reliability, or completeness of the Service during the beta period.
5.2 No Uptime Guarantees
We do not provide any service level agreements (SLAs) or uptime guarantees. The Service may be unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, third-party service outages, or other factors beyond our control. We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions.
5.3 Third-Party AI Services
GCLI integrates with third-party AI services including OpenAI, Google Gemini, and Anthropic. By using GCLI, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Your data may be processed by these third-party services
- You are subject to their respective privacy policies and terms of service
- We cannot control how these services handle your data
- We are not responsible for any actions or policies of these third parties
- Service availability depends on the availability of these third-party services
6. DATA COLLECTION & PRIVACY
6.1 Data We Collect
When you use GCLI, we collect the following information:
- Commands: The commands you request GCLI to generate
- Command Outputs: The results and outputs from executed commands
- Request Metadata: IP address, timestamp, user agent, and other technical information
- Usage Data: How you interact with the Service, features used, and performance metrics
- Account Information: Email address, subscription details, and payment information
6.2 Data Usage
We use this data to provide, improve, and maintain the Service, process payments, and communicate with you. Your commands and outputs may be processed by third-party AI services as described in Section 5.3.
6.3 Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as necessary to provide the Service and comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us, subject to certain limitations for legal and operational purposes.
7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The GCLI service, including its software, algorithms, and user interface, is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service without our express written permission.
Commands generated by GCLI are provided for your use, but the underlying technology and algorithms remain our intellectual property.
8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GCLI TECHNOLOGIES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
You acknowledge that you use GCLI at your own risk and are responsible for the consequences of executing any commands generated by the Service.
8.1 AI MODEL DISCLAIMER
GCLI uses Large Language Models (LLMs) which are probabilistic, not deterministic systems. This means commands generated may be incorrect, harmful, or cause damage to your computer or data. You are solely responsible for any damage, data loss, or system corruption that occurs as a result of executing commands generated by GCLI. We strongly recommend testing all commands in a safe environment before production use.
9. TERMINATION
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination.
10. CHANGES TO TERMS
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, for any reason, without prior notice or consent. We may update, change, or completely rewrite these Terms as we see fit, and you have no legal recourse or right to challenge such changes.
We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date, but this notification is provided as a courtesy only and is not legally required.
GCLI Technologies retains the absolute, unilateral right to modify these Terms of Service at any time, for any reason, without your consent or approval. You waive any right to challenge, dispute, or seek legal remedy for any changes made to these Terms. Your continued use of the Service after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, regardless of whether you have read or agree with the changes.
